Synchronous Learning - Anywhere in the World
Edukos Academy offers fully synchronous online learning for students in Canada (including homeschooled students) and internationally. Students attend live, teacher led classes in real time from the comfort of their own homes. Daytime and Evening Classes available. No travel or relocation is required.

Evening Classes
Edukos Academy offers flexible evening classes for students who need extra time to complete coursework or enhance their learning experience. It is ideal for both Canadian & international OSSD students. We provide a supportive environment for busy students to stay on track, catch up on missed lessons, or explore additional subjects in-depth.

Who can enrol at Edukos Academy?
Edukos Academy enrols students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, in Canada and internationally. Both full-time students and those taking a single credit course are welcome to apply.
Can international students earn an Ontario high school diploma online?
Yes. International students anywhere in the world can earn the full OSSD online with Edukos Academy. Classes are delivered live over the internet, so students study the Ontario curriculum from home. No travel, relocation, or study visa is required.
Do you support homeschool students?
Yes. Edukos offers scheduled synchronous OSSD courses that homeschooling families can use for accredited credits and a recognized diploma. Homeschool students study the Ontario curriculum with certified teachers while keeping a flexible routine.
What is the difference between synchronous and asynchronous learning?
Synchronous learning means live online classes at set times where students interact with teachers and classmates in real time. Asynchronous learning is self-paced with no fixed class times. Edukos offers both so students can choose the structure that best fits their schedule and time zone.
How many credits do you need to graduate high school in Ontario?
To earn the OSSD, students need 30 credits (18 compulsory and 12 optional), plus 40 hours of community involvement and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy requirement (OSSLT or the OLC4O course). Edukos guidance counsellors help each student track these requirements.
Do I have to be Canadian to apply?
No. Edukos Academy welcomes both Canadian and international students. Any student worldwide who wants to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma can apply and study fully online.
Can I take just one course at Edukos?
Yes. Students can enrol in individual OSSD credit courses without joining full-time. Single courses are offered in live synchronous or self-paced asynchronous format, subject to availability.
Can I transfer from another school?
Yes. Edukos Academy reviews your Ontario Student Transcript or previous school records and applies all eligible credits toward your OSSD, so you only complete the courses you still need.
Can Edukos Academy graduates apply to university?
Yes. Edukos graduates meet the same admission requirements as any Ontario student and can apply to universities and colleges in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and many other countries, including through the OUAC.
How much does it cost to enrol, and are payment plans available?
Tuition depends on the grade level and number of courses taken, and Edukos Academy offers flexible payment plans. Contact the admissions team for the current fee schedule for full-time and individual course enrolment.
