Here’s how final exams work in Edukos Academy’s online OSSD courses — including live proctoring, scheduling, and how exams are marked to Ontario Ministry standards.”
Edukos Academy courses include mandatory final summative assessments. For many courses, this summative takes the form of a final exam and is required to successfully complete the course and earn credit.
To maintain academic integrity and ensure fairness, all final exams are formally proctored by Edukos Academy staff. Students are required to have their cameras on for the full duration of the exam and are monitored live in real time by an approved proctor.
Exam Scheduling
- Final exams are scheduled through Edukos Academy using our online booking system.
- Students are required to book their exam at least three days in advance through our online booking system provided in their course. Once the booking is submitted, it is reviewed and confirmed by the course teacher or academic team.
- Exams are conducted online at the scheduled time under live supervision. Clear instructions and expectations are communicated to students in advance to ensure a smooth and secure exam experience.
After the Exam
Upon completion of the exam, the student might need to scan the completed exam clearly and ensure that all pages are legible.
The exam must then be securely submitted according to Edukos Academy procedures, either by uploading it to the designated Dropbox folder or through the method specified by the teacher.
Once received, the course teacher reviews and marks the exam, and final results are issued in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education requirements.
